The technical department performs:

  - Development of requirements to the technical policy of the Institute;
  - Determination of main technical decisions and quality control of the developed projects;
  - Introduction of modern requirements into designed productions, the purpose of which is to increase industrial safety;
  - Provision of the Institute with information scientific and research resources;
  - Provision of effective functioning of the system for continuous training and raising the level of the Institute employees skill;
  - Keeping in working condition and continuous improvement of the integrated quality management system, professional safety and labor protection, environmental protection based on the International Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001;
  - Support of license activity in the sphere of engineering;
  - Organization and realization of measures having a special purpose, technical councils, seminars and presentations;
  - Development, examination and norms control of the auxiliary and local statements of the Institute.
